The film series began with the evergreen “Rise of the Planet of the Apes” in the year 2011, followed by “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes” with “War for the Planet of the Apes” in 2014 and 2017. After waiting for almost 7 years, the fans are excited about the new addition to their beloved franchise, the “Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes”. The upcoming Hollywood blockbuster “Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes” has been in talks for quite a few years now. The film is finally going to be released on 10th May 2024. The film is directed by “Wes Ball” and the initial production of the film began in April 2019, after the acquisition of 20th Century Fox by Disney. According to the sources, the scriptwriting began in 2020 during Covid and finished only by the year 2022. Soon after that, casting was confirmed and in September 2022, the title of the film was also revealed i.e. KINGDOM OF THE PLANET OF THE APES. Filming began in Sydney, Australia in the same year and everything got wrapped up by 2023 in February.


‘Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes’ takes place several years after ‘War for the Planet of the Apes’. The story revolves around the apes who are thriving under the legacy set by Caesar. Things get tense when a new tyrannical ape leader named Alpha rises in power and seeks to build a new empire through conquest. This makes Cornelius troubled and he starts to question everything around him. He is determined to fight against Alpha to find peace for his land and that’s why he embarks on a journey to stop Alpha.

“Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes” explores the themes of conflict, power, conquest, redemption, and most of all; the complicated relationship between humans and apes. As experienced from the earlier sequences, the movie will take you through quite a journey when it comes to action, expressive graphics, stunning visuals, and superb sound effects. The movie will also induce a thought-provoking insight among the audience and make them question their facts regarding their present and the mysterious future that is yet to come.
