Now that everything has come to a standstill because of the lockdown, we finally know how Mumbai looks when the city sleeps. It is a blend of beautiful and eerie. Screenshot-2020-04-03-20.08.32-1366x768 Mumbai-lockdown mumbai-1200-1 media-handler

“The city runs at its own pace.” “Mumbai never stops for anyone.” I have heard these two sentences and their versions at multiple instances. realised how true the statements were when I first visited the megacity. It truly never stops. The city is always up and running. You either match its pace or you’re left lurking behind. No matter you love it or hate it, you just cannot stop admiring Mumbai’s spirit. To celebrate the city and the feeling it represents, here we have curated some social media posts that show how Mumbai looks under a lockdown.

P.S. All these images were clicked by people who were bound by the sense of their duties to go out. We do not endorse or suggest going out during the lockdown just for the purpose of clicking photographs. Staying at home is the best you can do during this time, and we advise you to do exactly that. Stay inside, stay home, and stay safe, so that you can travel the world later.
