Oh No! Deepika Padukone to REJECT the xXx: Return of Xander Cage sequel and we know why
Deepika Padukone made her big Hollywood debut in Vin Diesel’s xXx: Return of Xander Cage last year. However, it did not got according to plan. Not only did it fare poorly at the American box office, but also in India. But the director, DJ Caruso, was happy with the film’s super success in China and announced a sequel to the film immediately. He even confirmed on Twitter that Deepika will be a part of the film. However, is she actually a part of the sequel? Well, it seems dicey! While Vin Diesel wants her to be a part of the movie, according to a report in Mumbai Mirror, she has neither said a yes or has she been offered a contract yet.

According to the same report, it is said that xXx: Return of Xander Cage did not help Deepika’s Hollywood aspiration and with no substantial offer or role in the sequel, the actress is thinking to reject the film. What do you think she should do? Should she still take up the offer and be a part of the sequel or concentrate more on her Bollywood career? On the film front, Deepika has just given a nod to Vishal Bhardwaj’s next with Irrfan Khan till now. After the super success of Padmaavat, she has several offers. But with a back injury, she has just signed on for one film till now. However, even the Vishal Bhardwaj film looks dicey right now. This is because of the fact that not only Deepika is injured, but Irrfan is also suffering from a rare disease, which he is trying to diagnose. xXx-return-of-xander-cage-deepikapadukone
