New Delhi: Anushka Sharma, who is being appreciated for her amazing acting and performance in the recently released movie, Zero, starring Shah Rukh Khan, and Katrina Kaif among others has always been in the news, ever since she made her debut in Rab ne Bana di Jodi, opposite SRK. A young and pretty Anushka Sharma starred in the movie, and her transformation in the field of acting, and her fitness has been phenomenal.

Anushka was never fat, or flabby even when she debuted in 2008, but she really worked on her body and broke away from the stereotype of “girl next door” by her look in Badmash Company. Anushka has also been very vocal about animal rights, and other issues she stands for and has gained a position of a prestigious celebrity in the country. Her husband, Virat Kohli, the Indian cricket team captain also admitted once that she is the reason behind his healthy choices in life. Anushka Sharma’s diet plan
Anushka is an eggetarian, and very vocal about animal rights on social media and otherwise. She has also influenced her husband to steer away from meat, unless otherwise necessary for the body’s strength and stamina. And here’s what her diet chart looks like.

For breakfast: For breakfast, Anushka eats two egg whites, with a glass of fresh juice, and some fresh fruits.

For lunch: Anushka believes in being absolutely basic and carries ghar ka khana (home-made food) with her to her sets, whenever possible. She eats dal, roti, and vegetables for a light lunch.

For mid-day snacks: Anushka believes in eating at regular intervals and not starving the body in between meals. She eats cheese toasts and hydrates herself with lime water or coconut water.

For dinner: Evening snacks and dinner comprise of protein intake in the form of protein or nutrition bars, a light dinner, and a glass of milk before going to bed.

She steers away from oily, junk, and fast food which is a strict no-no for anyone who aspires to be fit and look fabulous, like Anushka Sharma.

Yoga – go back to basics

Gym sessions for a toned body

Yoga is a good way to remain healthy, but for certain roles, you need to work on certain specific areas of the body, for which you need to go to the gym. Anushka also works out in the gym regularly to ensure a healthy and fit body. Her gym routine includes weight training and strength training exercises.

Meditation for a healthy mind

Anushka believes that a healthy mind is just as important as a healthy body and takes out time to meditate and relax her mind so that she can take on the world!

Dance sessions

Anushka really loves to shake a leg on good Bollywood numbers and we have seen proof of that at her wedding reception and also at receptions of friends from the cricket fraternity. Anushka believes that dance is a great cardio workout where you refresh the mind, and warm up the body while doing something you love.
